Recently, the Shanghai Clinical Testing Quality Control Center announced the results of the first external quality assessment (EQA) of 2025. The Septin9 gene methylation testing project submitted by Tianjin Baikang Hexin Medical Laboratory — ProteinT's independent clinical-trial window — was fully consistent with the expected standard and passed the assessment.

In recent years, liquid-biopsy technology has been increasingly used in the early screening, efficacy monitoring and recurrence assessment of tumors. Septin9 gene methylation, as a specific molecular marker of early colorectal cancer, has become an important auxiliary diagnostic tool.
