On the 23rd, Tianjin Science and Technology Press, Tianjin Science and Technology Translation & Publishing Co., Ltd., the Tianjin Fulao Foundation and ProteinT (Tianjin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The parties will jointly explore a new "publishing + public welfare + technology" model for serving society. As the technology-enterprise representative, ProteinT will play a key role in future cooperation.

Publishing institutions not only carry the mission of disseminating knowledge but should also be active participants in public welfare. Together with the Fulao Foundation, they will leverage their professional strengths in science-popularization content and health-knowledge communication to jointly develop age-friendly reading materials and public-welfare publications, improving the scientific literacy and health-management level of the elderly.
Shi Baoguang said the Foundation has always been committed to improving the quality of life of the elderly and advancing the cause of aging. Partnering with professional publishing institutions combines frontline service experience with systematic, authoritative knowledge dissemination. "We will carry out multi-level services for the elderly, guiding research topics and clinical studies from research institutes and medical institutions into communities as public-welfare projects, providing early screening for difficult diseases in the elderly — a scientific system of early screening, detection, treatment, intervention and rehabilitation," he said.
