National Recognition: ProteinT Joins the Major Project on "Four Major Chronic Diseases" to Tackle Bottlenecks in Tumor Immunotherapy
发布时间:2025-07-28

The National Health Commission recently announced the results of the national science and technology major project "Research on the Prevention and Treatment of Cancer, Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular, Respiratory and Metabolic Diseases." The project "Establishment of an Early-Warning and Treatment System for Organ Injury in Tumor Immunotherapy Patients Based on Multi-Omics," led by Professor Wang Xiaoting of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, was successfully approved. ProteinT is deeply involved as one of the partner institutions; founder Dr. Li Jie was appointed project task leader and NMR business director Lu Jianfei was appointed project backbone.

The project brings together authoritative research and clinical institutions and technology enterprises including the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Shandong First Medical University Affiliated Cancer Hospital, Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital, and the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. On July 10, the project kick-off and implementation-plan demonstration meeting was held at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, marking the project's official entry into the implementation phase.

Focusing on core challenges in tumor immunotherapy, the project targets early identification and intervention mechanisms of immune-related organ injury, aiming to establish a precise, scalable clinical early-warning and decision-support system through multi-omics integration. ProteinT will leverage its deep accumulation in proteomics, genomics and metabolomics platforms, as well as its practical strengths in sample processing, data analysis and bioinformatics modeling, to provide strong technical support.
