In accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on the Application for 2022 Postdoctoral Research Workstation Branch Stations and Innovation Practice Bases, following unit application, recommendation by each district and competent commission/bureau, review by the expert review committee, and approval by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, Proteint (Tianjin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "ProteinT") was approved to establish a "Postdoctoral Research Workstation" and was officially awarded the plaque on August 8, 2023.

The postdoctoral research workstation is an important component of the national postdoctoral development cause. It mainly relies on technology-based enterprises, research institutions, or universities, and, upon approval, recruits and cultivates an interdisciplinary, composite, strategic, and innovative team of postdoctoral researchers that meets the needs of socialist modernization. It builds a bridge between high-tech talent and enterprises and is an effective vehicle for promoting the integration of industry, academia, and research.

The establishment of the postdoctoral research workstation is an affirmation of ProteinT's comprehensive strength and scientific research capabilities. It is of great significance for enhancing technological innovation capabilities and scientific competitiveness, broadening the pathways for cultivating high-level, top-tier talent, and promoting the translation of scientific and technological achievements. ProteinT has always attached great importance to the introduction and cultivation of talent. The R&D team is composed of doctoral and master's students from well-known domestic and international universities and research institutes such as Tsinghua University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Center for Protein Sciences, Stanford University, Yale University, Zhejiang University, and Tianjin University, among which doctoral graduates account for approximately 60%. Taking this successful approval as an opportunity, the company will actively deploy the various tasks of the research workstation, establish and improve management systems for postdoctoral entry, cultivation, assessment, and exit, fully utilize the postdoctoral research base platform, and continuously strengthen its scientific research talent team.

Recruitment Requirements

►  Generally within 3 years of obtaining a doctoral degree, with a professional background in related disciplines such as biotechnology, molecular biology, clinical medicine, or basic medicine; those whose research field is consistent with the research directions are preferred;

►  Good political quality and moral cultivation, law-abiding and disciplined, abiding by professional ethics and academic norms, with no adverse records;

►  Physically and mentally healthy, aged 35 or below (inclusive); this may be appropriately relaxed for particularly outstanding candidates, but must not exceed 40 years of age;

►  Strong scientific research ability and teamwork spirit, with the conditions to engage in full-time postdoctoral research work at the station;

►  Meeting other conditions required by the National Postdoctoral Management Committee Office.
